INTRODUCTION
Amenorrhea is a female health problem characterized by the absence of menstruation. Amenorrhea is of two types – primary amenorrhea and secondary amenorrhea. In primary amenorrhea, a girl above the age of 15 years has not gotten her first periods whereas secondary amenorrhea refers to the absence of periods for three to four months simultaneously.
