A form of arthritis which causes chronic spine inflammation is known as Ankylosing Spondylitis. The sarco-iliac joints, which are situated between the base of spine and the pelvis, are inflamed in Ankylosing spondylitis. One of the first indications of AS is this inflammation, Known as Sarco-iliitis. The inflammation starts to spread to joints between the vertebrae, the bones that make up the spinal column and this condition is called Spondylitis. Ankylosis is a condition where vertebrae in spinal column fuse and grow inflexible over time.
WHAT ARE THE RISK FACTORS OF ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS?
Although the precise origin of ankylosing spondylitis are unknown, some variables might contribute to an individual’s development of the condition. These factors includes :
- Gender : Males are more likely to develop it than females are. It affects males harder and earlier, whereas females often have milder type of AS.
- Age : Teenagers and young adults frequently experience the onset, which typically occurs between the age of 16 and 40.
- Genetics : People who have Human Leukocyte Antigen-B Gene mutation( HLA-B) are more likely to develop AS.
- Some Medical Problems : Individual with certain medical conditions are more likely to develop AS. The conditions includes :
- Crohn’s Disease
- Ulcerative Colitis
- Psoriasis

1. Pain – O – Kill tablet
