INTRODUCTION
Cervical spondylitis is an age-related wear and tear of the intervertebral discs of the neck. The disks get shrunk and dehydrated alongwith bony projections along the edges of bones. It is a very common age-related problem and worsens with increasing age. Pain in neck, stiffness and difficulty in movement are the common symptoms of cervical spondylitis. It occurs because of the osteoarthritic changes in the cervical vertebrae.
