Parents play an important role in boosting the confidence of the children. The tips given here can help parents in increasing the self-confidence of children.
Increase confidence in your child with these 8 ways
Confidence means confidence in yourself. A person who is full of self-confidence not only takes his own decisions, but positive energy is also infused in him. That person does not panic in the most difficult times. On the other hand, if there is a lack of confidence in a person, then he gives the exact opposite reaction. Neither he is able to take his own decisions nor is he able to face any situation firmly. From childhood, if parents increase the self-confidence of their children, then later they can develop the ability to learn, motivation to move forward in future, to face problems etc. Today’s article is on this topic. Today, through this article, we will tell you how parents can increase the self-confidence of children and how they can motivate them to move forward. Read on…
1 – Giving time to children
If you only have one child, you are the only one there to play with him. In such a situation, if he plays alone all the time, then you can feel irritability in his nature. In such a situation, parents should give proper time to the child to overcome the loneliness. By giving their participation in whatever game the child is playing, parents can not only become the companions of the children but they can also increase the memory and thinking power of the children. By doing this the confidence of the children increases.
2 – Do not be angry with children
It is easy to get angry at children but it affects their mood. Sometimes parents take out someone else’s anger on their children but they don’t know that it can spoil the child. Parents who scold their children more, tell them that due to this the child can be mentally weak and his self-confidence can also be weak. In such a situation, if the child makes a mistake, then do not get angry on him and explain to him. At the same time, if you are upset about something, instead of getting angry at the child, take the help of silence.
3 – Feedback on children’s mistakes
Children learn something only by making mistakes. In such a situation, the most important thing to note is how the parents are reacting to the mistake of the children. If he scolds or insults the child for any mistake, then fear will arise in the mind of the child and this will also weaken his faith. In such a situation, do not let the child be disappointed when he makes a mistake, rather explain to him that mistakes keep happening and motivate the child to move forward.
4 – Praising children
Sometimes it is necessary to praise children. Whether the child draws a small drawing or a big project, if the parent praises the child, he will try to do that work in a better way and he will be inspired to move forward. Compliments develop self-confidence and motivate him to improve himself.
5 – Do not compare children
So what if your child got low numbers? Is it important to compare your child with other children? Parents should understand that if they compare their children with any other child, then it does not increase their self-confidence but decreases and they start estimating themselves. In such a situation, inferiority complex can also arise in the child. It is the duty of the parents to avoid comparing the child and if the child has got low marks or he has not been able to win any competition, then again motivate him to move forward.
6 – Adding exercise to children’s routines
To increase the confidence in children, it is necessary to make slight changes in their routine. If there is a change, then the children will be inspired. In such a situation, parents should add exercise to the daily routine of their children. Apart from this, if the parents exercise themselves, then the child will try to exercise by watching them. This will not only increase the ability to learn, but he will also understand the meaning of exercise. Exercise is also a better option for the health of the child.
7 – Making children feel responsibilities
The best way to instill confidence in children is to make them responsible. In such a situation, you can also give small responsibilities to the children. Like accounting of milk or filling water bottles etc. This will not only give a feeling of meeting them but will also instill confidence in them. And they will understand how the work is done.
8 – Trusting children
Parents are unable to trust their ability to work by considering their children small, due to which the children are not able to trust themselves. In such a situation, first of all parents need to trust their children. when parents and ..children

A Hydrocele is a condition characterized by the accumulation of fluid in the sac formed around the testicles. This fluid collection is generally results from an inflammation or injury in the testicles (scrotum).
In Ayurveda science, hydrocele is considered as “Mutravridhi” (Swelling in sac). The cause of “Mutravridhi” is collection of fluid in the sac due to vitiation of vata dosha and rakta dhatu, which in turn can be due to internal derangement or external aghata (injury/trauma).
What causes hydrocele?
Cause In Newborn
- A hydrocele can develop before birth. Generally, the testicles get off from the developing baby’s abdominal cavity into the scrotal sac. A sac accompanies each testicle, allowing fluid to surround the testicles. Typically, each sac closes and the fluid is absorbed.
- Sometimes, the fluid remains after the sac closes. The fluid is usually absorbed slowly within the first year of life. But sometimes, the sac remains open (communicating hydrocele). If the scrotum is compressed, fluid can flow back into the abdomen. Communicating hydroceles are usually associated with inguinal hernia.
Cause In Older Males
- A hydrocele can develop because of injury or inflammation within the testicles. Inflammation might be due to an infection in the scrotum or in the small, coiled tube at the back of each testicular.
Symptoms Of Hydrocele
Typically hydrocele is a painless condition. The One and only symptom to be noticed is inflamed testicles or painless swelling in scrotum. Older males can get a sensation of heaviness in the scrotum while doing their routine work. In certain conditions, swelling can be more in the morning as comparison in the evening

What are cavities?
- Cavities are the damaged areas in the hard surface of your teeth that after damage develop into tiny openings or holes. Cavities are also known as tooth decay or caries, are caused by number of factors, that include frequent snacking, bacteria in your mouth; taking sugary drinks and not cleaning your teeth well.
- Cavities and tooth decay are common and mostly found health problems in all over the world. They’re common in every age group including children, teenagers and older adults.
Symptoms
The signs and symptoms of cavities vary from one to another person depends on severity of the condition. In beginning, you may not have any symptoms but as the decay progresses, it may cause signs and symptoms such as:
- Toothache, Mild to sharp pain while eating or drinking something sweet, hot or cold
- Spontaneous Pain or pain without any cause
- Tooth sensitivity
- Brown or black staining on tooth surface
Causes of tooth decay
Cavities are caused by tooth decay and this occurs over time. Here’s how tooth decay develops:
- Plaque forms. Plaque is a sticky substance that coats your teeth. Plaque formation occurs on tooth after eating a lot of sugars and starches and not cleaning your teeth well. After that bacteria start feeding on sugar and starch that form plaque. Plaque after staying for longer time hardens and converts into tartar (calculus). Tartar more difficult to remove plaque and creates a shield for bacteria.
- Plaque attacks. The acids in plaque cause erosion of enamel and causes tiny openings or holes in the enamel — the first stage of cavities. Once areas of enamel are eroded, then bacteria and acid can reach the next layer i.e. Dentin. Dentin is more sensitive and has tiny tubes that communicate with the nerve of the tooth causing sensitivity.
- Destruction continues. Then process of decaying continues and goes next to the inner pulps that have nerves and blood vessels. The pulp becomes swollen and cause pain, discomfort.
Risk factors
Everyone is at risk of getting cavities, but certain factors increase risk that includes:
- Tooth location. Decay most commonly occurs in your back teeth (molars and premolars). Because these parts contains pits or grooves so it is harder to keep them clean.
- Eating disorders. Like Anorexia and bulimia can cause tooth erosion and cavities.
- Certain foods and drinks. Foods that stick to your teeth for longer time — like sugar , cakes , snacks , milk, ice cream, honey etc.
- Heartburn. Due to Heartburn or GERD, stomach acid flow into your mouth (reflux), that can affect your enamel and cause tooth damage.
Other conditions include
- Frequent snacking or sipping
- Inadequate brushing
- Bedtime infant feeding
- Not getting enough fluoride.
- Younger or older age
